How to Evict a Tenant

Welcome to My Property Partner, we are here to assist landlords with any issues you are having with your tenants. If you are looking for information on how to evict a tenant then we can help you.

Who are we?

My Property Partner was formed and is owned by a team of landlords which makes us perfectly placed to understand the stresses and likely issues that will arise from letting your property to tenants. We understand that you are letting out a property for a business investment and you do not want the associated hassle that can accrue from renting to tenants.

What do we offer?

If you are looking to evict a tenant from your property then we have set procedures in place to make it happen as quick as possible with the minimum amount of impact on you.

We understand that evicting a tenant can be a daunting process to have to go through, especially if you are a relatively new property investor.

We have 3 different effective steps in place to evict a tenant, which are the following –

  • Step 1 – Serving Notice – If you are owed 2 months or more rent from a tenant then we can serve them notice to begin the process of regaining your property. Notice can also be served where a tenancy agreement is coming to expiry, it doesn’t always have to be used for arrears of rent.
  • Step 2 – Issue Proceedings – On your behalf we can start court proceedings which includes attending court on your behalf and obtaining the eviction notice.
  • Step 3 – Tenant Eviction – If in the rare incidence you have a stubborn tenant who will not leave the property after the legal notice then we will obtain a warrant for possession and a court bailiff will be employed to physically remove the tenant.

If you ever need to know how to evict a tenant then you are in safe hands with the team here at My Property Partner.
